Investment Policy

Notice is hereby given that Sarnia City Council, at its regular meeting to be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 starting at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, will consider the adoption of an Investment Policy for the City of Sarnia.

The Investment Policy will provide guidance for the management of the City’s investment funds including restrictions and limitations, risk tolerance, and investment objectives. Copies of the proposed policy are available below.

If you have input that you would like to be considered by Council, please provide it to the Finance Department no later than Monday, March 27, 2017 by email to finance@sarnia.ca or by mail at 255 N. Christina Street, P.O. Box 3018, Sarnia, ON, N7T 7N2.
