Transit Service and Property Taxation

Further to the public input session that was held on Monday, June 19, 2017, Council requested that more time be allowed to gather information prior to staff reporting to council.
The current Transit Service & Property taxation Survey has been extended to Friday, August 4, 2017. Staff will prepare a report for the September 11, 2017 Regular Council Meeting including a summary of public input received through the Council-led Public Input Session (held June 19, 2017), emails, and online and paper survey results.
Background information related to Transit Tax and a survey are available online at www.clerks.smartsarnia.com or in paper version from the Customer Service Centre at Sarnia City Hall. Paper copies can also be found on various Sarnia Transit buses or the Strangway Centre. We request that this survey be completed and/or returned prior to Friday, August 4, 2017.
