    1. No. Adults 50+ can choose to purchase a membership if they wish to save money on programming but it is not necessary.

    1. They are not. There is still a member fee for each program, it is just less than the noon-member fee.
  4. What programming do you currently offer?
    1. We offer a wide variety of programming from exercise classes to language courses to craft groups. You can pick up a copy of the Community Activities Guide at City Hall or the Strangway Centre or read it online.

  8. I’m not sure if I want to participate in a program. Is there any sort of trial period?
    1. Most instructors will let you try one class for free. Please ask a staff member first. A guest pass can be used to try daily activities for free for two weeks.
  9. I am looking for handyman services to help me take care of my home. Does Strangway provide those services?
    1. Strangway does not provide handyman assistance services. Our Hobbyshop volunteers will do minor furniture repairs, please inquire.
  10.  Am I able to make a monetary donation to the Centre?
    1. Yes, we sincerely appreciate your donations. Tax receipts are issued for donations of $10.00 or more. You may donate in person or online. If donating online be sure to select “Strangway Centre”.
