Tobogganing on Municipal Property

There has recently been some questions arising regarding tobogganing on City owned property.

The City of Sarnia has chosen to take a "middle ground" approach on this topic. Tobogganing is not banned in the City, however, please take note that these "hills" are not maintained - not inspected, are use at your own risk, and we recommend safety gear for activities such as tobogganing, skiing and sledding.

Attached below is the Non Agenda Council Report prepared by the Director of Parks and Recreation, Beth Gignac.
